Population Europe is comprised of two branches. In the Council of Advisors researchers with demonstrated expertise in population studies oversee the reports prepared by the partnership on policy-relevant topics and organise scientific briefings for decision makers. Our Information Centre coordinates the dissemination of demographic facts and findings on population trends and policies to a scientific audience as well as to policy makers, influential citizens, journalists, teachers, students and the general public.
The Boards of Population Europe are composed of the most eminent researchers in Europe and ensure that our activities meet the highest standards of scientific practice. In addition, the European Association for Population Studies regularly evaluates the partnership.
The Population Europe Secretariat in Berlin is hosted by the Max Planck Society for the Advancement of Science and coordinates the activities of the network.
