Call for Papers: ECSR Annual Conference
The European Consortium of Sociological Research (ECSR) will hold its next annual conference at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland, on 12-14 September 2019. The conference theme is Inequality over the life course
While there is a particular interest for papers or posters that address this theme, submissions on all relevant areas of sociological research, notably the labour market, education, gender, the family, migration and ethnicity, urban and spatial inequalities, political sociology, health and well-being, social mobility and social stratification in general, are also welcome.
Please submit your proposal – an extended abstract of 2-4 pages or a full paper – through the conference website.
The deadline for submissions is 28 February 2019.
All submissions are subject to peer review by the programme committee.
Authors will be informed about the committee decision by 10 April 2019. Registration is then open until 31 May 2019.

The keynote speakers are Delia Baldassari (New York University), Gunn Elisabeth Birkelund (University of Oslo), Martin Diewald (University of Bielefeld) and Herman van de Werfhorst (University of Amsterdam). The conference is organized by the Swiss National Centre of Competence in Research LIVES, with the support of the Institute of Social Sciences (ISS) of the University of Lausanne, the Centre CIGEV of the University of Geneva, and the Swiss Centre of Expertise in Social Sciences (FORS).
