Convergence and Divergence in Health and Life Expectancy in the Three Baltic Countries: Policy Implications and Challenges

On behalf of the partners of Population Europe, we would like to cordially invite you to this Population Europe Event, organised in cooperation with the University of Latvia, the Estonian Institute for Population Studies at Tallinn University and Vytautas Magnus University in Kaunas, Lithuania:

Friday, 30 October 2015, 9:00-14:30.

The programme begins with four presentations by eminent researchers offering insights into the development of health and life expectancy in the Baltic countries, the impact of social welfare states on health and related political implications. It will be followed by a panel debate involving stakeholders from policy, civil society and research, who will further discuss the event’s topic from a more policy-driven perspective.

We would like to kindly ask you to confirm your participation using our online registration form.

There will also be a Live stream available here.
