Will the policies of the next five years work towards an age-inclusive Europe? This is the moment to get our word in! We are living longer and healthier than ever in Europe, yet ageism holds many people back from participating in society. Fortunately, there are ways forward. The World Health Organization (WHO) has identified three areas for action to dismantle ageism: through policies and laws, education, and intergenerational interaction.

Share your ideas how the new EU legislature can fight ageism through policies, laws, education and intergenerational programmes. Your contribution will feed into policy recommendations for EU Policy makers and other government stakeholders. Leading demographers will also present their latest research on the relationship between policies and ageism in Europe.
