Research Fellow

The Australian National University has an international reputation for research and education relevant to the health and well-being of the population of Australia, as well as that of the developing world. The ANU Medical School is seeking to appoint a Research Fellow in the Endocrinology and Diabetes Research Group led by Prof Christopher Nolan. The Group is co-affiliated and located with the Department of Immunology and Infectious Disease at the John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR).

The Research Fellow will develop a research area relating to the effects of environmental factors on risk of diabetes with focus on epigenetic mechanisms within the pancreatic islet beta-cell, and is expected to have a demonstrated experience in pancreatic islet biology research evedenced by a record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
