The annual international Conference of Young Demographers is held at the Faculty of Science, Charles University, traditionally in the first half of February. Organisers welcome submissions from all fields of demography, as well as all related areas of population studies (they are always kind to sociologists, epidemiologists and even economists). The aim is to create a relaxed and welcoming environment where especially early career researchers can share their work-in-progress and thoughts with their peers. The conference is fully on-site and in-person.

The Call for Papers is now open, and you can find absolutely all the necessary information here. Submit your abstracts until Monday, 27 October 2025.

You will be notified about acceptance in December 2025.
