The digital divide in Europe persists. Young people use the internet more than older generations do. But this is only half the story: big disparities remain between Europe's regions. This event will present the new EPRS study on Europe's changing demography, and how this reflects in terms of the digital transition. Together with renowned experts, they will address the phenomenon of the digital divide between generations, social groups, and regions, and how these disparities might hamper economic development.
