Image 26/06/25 New report: Promoting healthy ageing in the EU A new EU report, with contributions by some of our network members, explores health and socio-demographic conditions as they shape population ageing in the European Union Through a comprehensive review of existing literature, experts from our network have identified critical knowledge gaps and outlined key social priorities affecting vulnerable populations. Using statistical methods and cross-national data, the study investigates the principal socio-demographic determinants of healthy ageing across the EU. The experts discussed policies of resilience, such as: making digital labour markets inclusive and accessible. How can Europe ensure it has enough essential workers (care, infrastructure) in coming decades? This question was discussed in a meeting by the EU-funded FutuRes Policy Lab on March 11.
