Calls for Papers

Societies is an interdisciplinary journal that brings together different scientific approaches to engage with societal questions to enhance our understanding of the social realm throughout history. The aim of this Special Issue is to provide new insights into the arrangements and challenges of child and family welfare regimes and policies in times of multiculturalism, migration, and “mixing populations”, as well as social risks and the fragmentation of the societies, the recognition of and resistance to cultural diversity, emerging fluid identities, and ethnocentric backlash.

Discussing and reflecting on the broad topic of AI research with a combination of academy and external experts. The aim of the conference is to exchange views on the changes, challenges and potentials of future research in the context of the Humanities and Social Sciences.

Annette Baudisch & Henrik-Alexander Schubert (The Interdisciplinary Centre on Population Dynamics CPop, University of Southern Denmark) are calling on the joint brainpower of our demographic community to fill a knowledge gap.
